We take in any hedgehog in need of a home. After quarantine, vet checks, and socialization, we try to find them new homes. Adoption fees for rescues vary based on health, age, and temperament. All proceeds go into a fund that we use for rescues' veterinary needs and upkeep.
While rescue fees are substantially lower than the price of babies, we urge you not to choose rescues just to get a cheaper pet. These guys often require work and have unknown backgrounds/genetic health. We prefer to home more nervous rescues to experienced adults but occasionally there are well-socialized rescues who can go to anybody.
